Problem Statement
The Problem: Planning an event, whether it’s a small family gathering or a large party, often comes with logistical headaches. Sourcing and preparing high-quality meat for a crowd can be a challenge, requiring specific skills and tools. The process of finding a skilled butcher, and then separately searching for a reliable event planner to handle the rest, is fragmented and time-consuming. Users often deal with inconsistent service, a lack of transparency in pricing, and the stress of coordinating multiple vendors. This all leads to a less-than-ideal experience for hosts who simply want to enjoy their occasion.

Discovery & Research:
User Interviews: Conducted interviews with a diverse group of users, including individuals planning parties, professional caterers, and experienced event planners.
Market Analysis: Analyzed the current landscape of event services, identifying gaps in the market for a specialized, all-in-one solution for meat-centric events.
Key Insights: Discovered that users valued convenience, professional expertise, and a single point of contact for their event needs. They expressed frustration with the manual process of booking different vendors.
Ideation & Strategy:
User Personas: Developed personas such as "The Busy Host" who needs a simple, seamless booking process, and "The Foodie Planner" who cares about the quality and specific cuts of meat.
User Flows: Mapped out the booking process from initial inquiry to final confirmation, including options for selecting a butcher, choosing a specific meat package, and adding event planning services.
Feature Prioritization: Prioritized key features that would provide the most value, such as a clear booking calendar, a customizable service package builder, and integrated communication tools for clients and professionals.
Design & Prototyping:
Information Architecture: Created an intuitive site structure with dedicated sections for butcher booking, event planning services, and a gallery of past events to build social proof.
Wireframing: Developed low-fidelity wireframes to quickly establish the layout for the booking flow and service customization pages.
UI/UX Design: Designed a professional and clean interface. The design focuses on high-quality visuals of prepared meat and successful events to inspire confidence. The booking form was designed to be straightforward and easy to use, with clear steps.
